We grow large hanging baskets, with unusual combinations of plant color and foliage texture. We grow these baskets to sell beginning about April 1, and while many are sold for Mother's Day, we have a later crop for early summer sales, usually available in good supply through June or early July.

Hanging Baskets are grown in Greenhouse 2 and other places, but are displayed around the nursery outdoors after frost danger is over. We grow finished plant combinations in ceramic pots. Similar to hanging baskets, these mixed plantings are made with the best, most interesting annuals and perennials, and are offered for sale April through summer.

Individual plants are grown in smaller pots. Everything we grow in mixed pots or hanging baskets is also offered in smaller pots, so gardeners can make their own baskets and pots, or use plants directly in the landscape. Annuals in individual pots are located in Greenhouses Number 9 through 13.
